Safety and Community Rules
A comfortable conversation starts with clear boundaries and control over what you share.
Respect every conversation
Respect another person’s decision to decline or end a conversation. Harassment, threats and coercion have no place here.
Keep personal information out of the conversation
Avoid sharing your address, identity documents, account passwords or financial details. Look at your camera background before starting: mail, screens and other objects can reveal more than you intend.
A one-on-one call is not a guarantee against recording or screenshots. Only share what you are comfortable allowing someone else to see.
End, block or report
Use the available call controls to leave an uncomfortable conversation. Where the profile or conversation menu offers block or report, use those controls to flag unwanted behavior. Do not continue an interaction to collect more evidence if it makes you uncomfortable.
For account or purchase issues, use the support options inside the app. Reports and blocking are different actions; follow the confirmation shown for each.
Understand permissions and data
You can manage website camera and microphone permissions in your browser. Revoking permission may prevent video features from working until you enable it again.
See the privacy policy for data-handling information, and our practical video chat safety guide for preparation tips.
